ASX has designed its website to run on a broad range of browsers and operating systems. The following list details some of the site-wide navigation features that improve the overall accessibility of this site.

· A 'Skip to content' link is available for users using text-only browsers such as lynx or surfing with CSS-disabled. This link appears at the top of the page and allows you to skip directly to the page content without having to scroll past the primary navigation and site-wide utility links.
· A comprehensive sitemap provides one-click access to content deep within the site.
Visual design has been optimised for monitors set at 1024 by 768 pixels resolution with 16-bit colour depth. The site will still function for users on other settings but it may not be as visually appealing.
The ASX website has been built according to HTML 4.01 Transitional specifications and conforms to Web Consortium Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) priority 1 and 2 checkpoints.
Page design and layout is controlled by Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and has been written according to the CSS 2.1 specifications.
Structured and meaningful Hypertext Mark-up Language (HTML) has been used to assist users accessing the site via non-visual means, such as users of screen-reading software.
The ASX website allows you to quickly navigate to frequently used links by using keyboard shortcuts. Access keys are also useful for users who rely on a keyboard or another input device to navigate through the website.
